OVERBLOWING
This magical word describes one of a bunch of techniques which are indispensable to play the diatonic harp chromatically. I don't want enter into specific details (for a specific treatment of the matter I would strongly suggest the Howard Levy's video "New directions for harmonica" - Homespun Video and the Mike Stevens' book "Bluegrass harmonica" - Centerstream). Here I provide two examples of my playing using such techniques. I include a chromatic (Hohner 260) and a diatonic (C tuned Marine Band, customized by myself) take of each theme just for matter of comparison. The tonality remains the same.
