De Aloe. Born in Busto Arsizio on the 18th march 1968, began to play classical piano in 1981 and then carried on his studies at the CPM (Centro Professione Musica) in Milan. In 1993 he graduated at the Università di Milano presenting a sociology thesis on Pop music as consumer and aggregation good among young people.
In 1986 he started his musical activity as a pianist; later he began to study the chromatic harmonica which is today his main instrument. He was pupil of the classical harmonica player Willi Burger, one of the most famous harmonica soloist in the world. He played with some important musicians from all over the world such as Mike Melillo, Don Friedman, Shirley Bunnie Foy, Gilbert Rover, Sebastien Chaumont, Giò Guido (a member of the Crusaders of Los Angeles) and with some of the most important italian jazz musicians like Renato Sellani, Bruno De Filippi, Eddy Palermo, Massimo Moriconi, Marco Detto, Stefano Bagnoli, Marco Ricci, Riccardo Fioravanti, Gegè Munari. He took part to different session recordings and he recorded his first Cd as leader "La danza di Matisse" (Splasch Records CDH 701.2 - 1999). He played in different festivals and important settings such as the Stars and Bars in Montecarlo, the Four Season Hotel in via Montenapoleone in Milan and the Villa San Sebastiano in Rome. He splits his activities between the playing and the teaching. He founded and now runs his own music school (Centro Espressione Musicale) in Gallarate (Va), where he teaches modern piano,theory and chromatic harmonica. At present he gives the name to his own group and plays regularly with Renato Sellani quartet and in the italian quartet of Mike Melillo.
